Most platform advice comes from people who will not be there when it is built. Ours does not: the same team writes the recommendation and then has to live inside it, which is a useful constraint on how clever the recommendation gets.
What this covers
- Platform choice - including the answer that you should stay where you are, when that is true.
- Architecture review of a system you already have, with the failure modes named plainly rather than scored on a matrix.
- Scoping a build into stages that can each ship, instead of one release that has to be perfect.
- A second opinion on a quote or a proposal you have been given by someone else.
This is the shortest page here on purpose. Consulting engagements are covered by confidentiality more often than build work is, so there is less we can point at publicly - and padding this page with claims we cannot evidence would be the wrong fix. Ask us for references and we will arrange them directly.
